Quentin Tarantino’s 10 Most Memorable Acting Roles Ranked

Quentin Tarantino is one of those directors who also likes to get in front of the camera. Not in a Ben Affleck or Mel Gibson way, but more like Hitchcock or Shyamalan. He loves to take a bit role and really ham it up.

Today, I want to go over Quentin Tarantino’s most memorable acting roles and rank them so you know which ones to check out.

Let's dive in.

10. Django Unchained (2012) – Frankie

  • Director: Quentin Tarantino
  • Writer: Quentin Tarantino
  • Cast: Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson

Tarantino, aside from having a voice cameo in the KKK scene, comes in later as an Australian transporting Django (Jamie Foxx). The accent is not amazing, but it sort of fits the tone of this movie and is one of the most self-aware cameos he's done.

9. Little Nicky (2000) – Deacon

  • Director: Steven Brill
  • Writer: Tim Herlihy, Adam Sandler, Steven Brill
  • Cast: Adam Sandler, Patricia Arquette, Harvey Keitel, Quentin Tarantino

One of Tarantino’s most unhinged non-directorial appearances happens in this Sandler comedy where he embodies a street preacher in a way only Tarantino can. It's like slapstick comedy, with the butt of the joke being his repeated physical harm. Bonkers part.

8. Four Rooms (1995) – Chester Rush

- YouTube www.youtube.com

  • Director: Quentin Tarantino (Segment: "The Man from Hollywood")
  • Writer: Quentin Tarantino
  • Cast: Tim Roth, Quentin Tarantino, Jennifer Beals, Bruce Willis

In the anthology film's final chapter, Tarantino plays an exaggerated version of himself. I actually wish more people saw this movie, because he's kinda good at playing himself here, even if his name is Chester Rush. He leans into the joke and hits some famous monologues that kinda prove he does have screen presence.
